Ann Martin (Scottish Yoga Centre – 40 years of teaching experience) will be offering Hatha Yoga Classes for all levels.
Yoga is an ancient form of movement, breathing and meditation to ensure the health of the whole body.

The word YOGA means to unite body, mind and spirit as a means of creating balance throughout the whole system.
Simply Yoga classes on Friday mornings offer Hatha (physical) Yoga Postures to suit all ages and levels of ability from beginner to experienced practitioner.

Each student is treated as an individual whose health concerns (if any) are catered for. Postures will be recommended for particular problems.
Props are supplied and are used regularly to help facilitate postures. Yoga postures are designed to increase strength and suppleness in equal measure to encourage a healthy body to cope with the demands of modern life.Breathwork (Pranayama) is taught as specific breathing exercises to increase lung capacity and breath retention while easing stress and inducing a more meditative mind set. Pranayama is also used in conjunction with the postures to help focus concentration while aiding muscle relaxation.

Each session ends with 15 minutes of deep relaxation using a variety of techniques including breathing, visualisation and use of sound.
So, if you want to be healthier, more supple, stronger, calmer, more focused and relaxed while healing your body from the inside out – come and join us!

Your body will thank you and you Will feel the difference.
